J&K Police Public Mela, Traffic arrangements

J&K Police Public Mela is being held on 20-09-2015 at Bakhshi Stadium Srinagar and is likely to be inaugurated by VIP. Huge number of VIPs Senior Officers of police / Civil Administration and public are likely to participate in the said Mela To ensure smooth traffic movement and adequate parking of vehicles on the day, the following traffic police arrangements are hereby ordered.

PARKING OF VEHICLES:
Below mentioned parking places have been identified for parking of vehicles of Chief Guest / Senior Police Officers
and general public which are illustrated as below:-

01.Inside Bakhshi Stadium (for Chief Guest and Senior Officers of Police): The vehicles of Chief Guest and Senior
Officers of Police from the rank of IGsP have entry into Bakhshi Stadium from Iqbal park side Gate. These vehicles
shall be parked inside Bakhshi Stadium systematically from Iqbal park side. The vehicles of DIsG, SSsp and Ssp shall
have entry into Bakhshi Stadium from Tulsibagh side Gate and shall be parked properly from Tulsibagh side. No private vehicle will be allowed to enter into Bakhshi Stadium from these two gates or allowed to drop the participant’s in front of the gate from Tulsibagh side.

02.Amar Singh Collage premises (for General Public): The vehicles of public after de-boarding the Prticipants/general public in front of Amar Singh Collage shall be parked in Amar Singh Collage premises. The participants shall come on foot and have entry into Bakhshi Stadium through tunnels from Tulsibagh side.

03.Tagore Hall Premises (for Retired Police and Civil Officers): These vehicles after de-boarding in front of Amar
Singh Collage shall be parked in Tagore Hall premises. The participants shall come on foot and have entry into Bakhshi Stadium through tunnels from Tulsibagh side.
