Government must take all measures to stop braid chopping terrorizing incidents

Says local youth must fully support police & authorities to arrest these kind of terrorists.

SRINAGAR 03 October: Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) youth leader and social activist Syed Aijaz Kashani has strongly condemned the braid chopping incidents and said the state government has completely failed to provide security to common people despite the fact that Kashmir is the highest military zone in world. In a statement issued today Syed Aijaz Kashani said, “The braid chopping incidents are attack on the dignity and honour of women and cannot be tolerated, we can do anything possible in our hands to halt this inhuman act. Our women are in constant fear and feel terror even inside their own homes, when a person is living in constant fear inside his own home you should understand the degree of failure of security agencies. These incidents are terrorizing people and the culprits should be declared as terrorists and dealt under terror laws. Our police need to take serious actions against these culprits and put behind bars as soon as possible.” Terming it as a priority, He also appealed local youth and members of civil society to come forward and do their best to provide security to women, he appealed youth to volunteer themselves for the cause and also appealed them not to take laws in their hands at any cost, rather they should fully cooperate with police so that the culprits will be prosecuted under law.
