Snowfall continues in the stretch between Jawahar Tunnel to Patnitop.
The Jammu-Srinagar highway closed today after heavy snowfall on both sides of the Jawahar Tunnel.
Fresh snow accumulation details are
a. Snow accumulation at JT is 1.5 ft
b. Nowgam 1.5 ft
c. Banihal 8 inches
d. Ramsoo 2 inches
e. Ramban 2 inches
f. Peerah 2 inches
g. Nashri 3 inches
h. Batote 11 inches
I. Patnitop 2 ft
j. Kud 1 ft
k. Chenani 4 inches
