SKUAST Jammu ‘Written/Screening Test (Driver/Stenographer/ACT/Electrician)

It is once again for the information of all the concerned eligible applicants who have applied for the post of Driver/Stenographer/Assistant-cum-Typist/ Electrician advertised vide notification no. 13 (Secy.) of 2016 dated 05.09.2016 that the Written/Screening test for the posts shall be conducted on 10th of March, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Examination Halls/Class rooms of the Faulty of Agriculture , SKUAST-J, Chatha.

The eligible candidates can download their individual admit cards through a link available on the university website i.e. www.skuast.org. However all those eligible candidates whose name figure in the lists of eligible candidates in Driver, Stenographer, Assistant-cum-Typist & Electrician’s already uploaded on the website, but are unable to download the admit card, may report to I/c Examination Cell, SKUAST-J, Chatha.

The candidates are informed to strictly follow the instructions given in the admit card, which shall be final and binding for the candidates.

No separate mode of communication shall be followed for calling the candidates for appearing in the Written/Screening test.

It is further informed to the candidates who have applied for both the posts of Stenographer and Assistant-cum-Typist shall appear for common Written/Screening test for these posts and accordingly, the list of candidates in order of merit to be obtained in the Written/Screening tests shall be displayed separately for these positions.

Shortlisting of candidates to be called for appearing in the interviews shall be done on the basis of merit score of Written/Screening tests in the ratio 1:5 against the number of positions advertised separately for Driver, Stenographer, Assistant-cum-Typist and Electrician respectively.

Note: The nature of appointment, fixation of pay and increments, DA and other allowances/other service conditions shall be applicable as contained in the SRO-202 of J&K Govt, to the candidates selected against the advertised posts irrespective of terms and conditions envisaged in earlier advertisement made for above said posts.
