The exact number of vacancies, for all the 137 Schools across India, will be disclosed by AWES later. However, there are more than 8000 vacancies to be filled for the year 2018.

A. Age Limit (as on 1st April 2019)
Maximum Age for Fresh Applicants: 40 Years
Maximum Age for Experienced Applicants: 57 years*
*Experienced Applicants should have minimum 5 Years teaching experience in the last 10 years.
B. Educational Qualifications (as on 1st April 2019)
- PGT: You should have a Post Graduation degree with B.Ed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/institute.
- TGT: You should have done your Graduation degree with B.Ed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/institute.
- PRT: You should have done your Graduation degree with B.Ed/ 2-year diploma with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/institute.
The APS selection process will consist of 3 stages:
- Online Written Exam
- Personal Interview
- Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test
