Lecturers (Engineering)

The candidate must possess B.E/B.Tech and Master’s degree in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B. Tech or Master’s Degree.

Lecturers ( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic)

The Candidate must possess post graduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) alongwith NET/SLET/Ph.D.

Lecturers(Humanities-Management)

The candidate must possess Master’s degree in relevant subject with first Class (60%) or equivalent, (55% in case of Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & visually handicapped candidates) alongwith NET/SLET conducted by UGC/CSIR/Association of Indian University (AIU) University of Kashmir/Jammu with accreditation from UGC or Ph.D in concerned subject.

Assistant Lecturers (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities Management)

The candidates must possess post Graduate degree in the concerned subject having minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & visually handicapped candidates).

Physical Training Instructor

The candidates must possess Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject i.e. M.P. Ed having minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & visually handicapped candidates) alongwith NET/SLET/Ph.D.

Selection Process For GCET Jobs Jammu

The Principal, Govt. College of Engineering and Technology, Chak Bhalwal, Jammu shall arrange and conduct a written/screening test for all the eligible candidates, if required. However, the candidates with NET/SLET/Ph.D. are exempted from written/screening test. The selection of the candidates shall be made by the Selection Committee strictly on the basis of Merit list to be prepared. The applicants are advised to keep in touch with the office of Registrar, GCET, Jammu for further information.
