Govt Jobs in Agriculture Department under ATMA Scheme
Advertisement of the posts for engagement against contractual position under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Support to State Extension Programme for Extension Reforms” (ATMA Scheme).
Applications are hereby invited from the eligible candidates who are permanent resident of J&K State for engagement against the contractual position of Subject Matter Specialist (Assistant Technology Manager) (Block Level) / Accountant-cum*Clerk in Jammu District for a period of one year under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Support to State Extension Programme for Extension Reforms” (ATMA Scheme). The eligibility criteria/other terms and conditions for contractual engagement for each post are as under:
Name of the post
Assistant Technology Manager (ATM)/SMS Block level 11
The candidate should be a permanent resident of J&K State: The candidate must have a qualification of Graduation/ Post Graduation in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Economics/ Marketing/ Veterinary Science/ Fisheries with at least 60% marks in aggregate. However, preference will be given to the candidates having Post Graduation Degree in Agriculture Extension; The candidate should not be below the age of 18 years and above the age of 65 years: The candidate with experience of working in a Government/ Semi-Government organization in the relevant field shall be preferred.

Accountant-cum- Clerk 01
The candidate should be a permanent resident of J&K State: The candidate must have a qualification of Graduation preferably B. Com. with at least 60% marks in the aggregate. The candidate should not be below the age of 18 years and above the age of 65 years: The candidate must have an experience of at least three years in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200+2400 Grade Pay or equivalent in a Government/ Semi-Govt, organization in relevant field.
Terms and Conditions
1. The selected candidates shall have to work on contractual basis and shall not claim any permanent employment on the said post.
2. The period of contract shall be for one year and can be extended depending upon the performance of the selected candidate and continuation of the scheme.
How to apply
The prescribed Application Form duly filled in by the candidate along with the attested photocopies of Qualification. Experience and Character Certificates should be submitted to the office of the Chairman ATMA Management Committee (Chief Agriculture Officer. Jammu) on any working day by or before 20.04.2018.
