Kashmir university Jobs : Applications are invited from highly committed and motivated scholars with experience of working on conflict inflicted gendered-based mental health epidemiological, psychosocial distress issues.
The positions are available in the Research Project Team for the implementation of National Commission for Women sponsored research project titled “Evaluation of Conflict on Women Mental Health in Kashmir: A Psychosocial and Interventional Ecosystem Analysis”. The research is structured to develop evidence-based sustainable organisational ecosystem within the value-chain infrastructure to optimise institutional policy interventions for evaluation, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders.

The co-terminus positions are to be filled in for a period of one year based on the performance of the candidates and continued relevance of the positions to the project.
1. Project Coordinator: One position Remuneration: 25,000/- p.m.
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology/ Population Science/Public Health/ Social Work / Sociology / Women’s Studies /Mass Communication/Law or MBA.
Excellent understanding of women issues, policies, programs, and legal frameworks related to gender-based violence and/or experience of working on mental health research will be an added advantage. The applicant is expected to possess a very strong research, monitoring, evaluation, writing and computer skills with demonstrated capability in data collection and analysis.

Job Responsibilities: To work with and assist the Project Director in project relevant responsibilities. The job demands long working hours including extensive travel.
2. Field Investigator: One position for eight months only.
Remuneration: 10000/- p.m.
Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduate degree in any social sciences or allied fields or MBA.
Experience of strong data collection, collation, analysis, interpretation, and report writing skills are required. Extensive travel all across the valley is required for this position.
