Applications, on the prescribed format, are invited from eligible candidates (Retired/Non PSC) who are permanent Residents of J&K State, for the faculty posts of Professor & Associate Professor, on Academic Arrangement basis under SRO; 384 of 2009 Dated:- 14-12-2009 read with SRO; 409 of 2013 dated:- 19-9-2013 and SRO; 355 of 2017 dated;- 28-8-2017,in the following disciplines initially for a period of one year which can be extended up to the maximum age as provided in SRO-384 ( one year at a time subject to good work and conduct of the incumbent) or till such time the posts are filled by the competent authority on regular basis in terms of existing J&K Medical Education (Gazetted) recruitment rules,1979 & SRO 88 of 2016 dated 14-03-2016 whichever is earlier.

Candidates interested in applying for these senior faculty posts at Government Medical College, Anantnag can obtain the application forms, free of cost for these posts from Camp Office of Govt. Medical College, Anantnag located in District (MMAB) Hospital, Janglat Mandi, Anantnag and Medical Superintendent, District (MMAB) Hospital, Anantnag on all working days up-to 2:00 PM. The application forms, complete in all respects, and accompanied by a non-refundable Bank Draft for Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) pledged to Principal, Govt. Medical College, Anantnag payable at RCC Anantnag should be deposited at the same address up to 01-12-2018.
Terms & Conditions:-
- The application must be annexed with self attested copies of the following documents/certificates /etc.,
- MBBS degree certificate
- MD/MS/DNB/PhD/D.SC qualification certificates of the respective specialty.
Marks certificates of 1st MBBS, 2′y) MBBS, Pre-final MBBS and Final MBBS or for other degrees, marks sheets of all semesters.
- Attempt certificates of all examinations of MBBS,MD/MS/DNB/MCh etc issued by the university.
- Experience certificate of previous faculty positions held with duration issued by the competent authority.
- Professional publications in standard indexed professional Journals as per SRO-88 of 2016 dated 14-04-2016.
- State Subject Certificate.
- Certificate of Date of Birth.
- Two passport size photographs
- The applicant should not be more than 63 years of age as provided in SRO-384.
- The applicants shall have to appear before the selection committee for an interview along-with all original documents. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- The selected candidate shall execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the department before the completion of at least one year contract.
- The selected candidate will submit an affidavit at the time of joining that he/she is not on the rolls of other
- Medical Colleges/lnstitutions of the state or country as required by MCI regulations.
Incomplete application form(s) in any respect or not appended with required documents shall be rejected without any notice.
The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of combined academic merit and performance at the interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in interview.
