J&K Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Assistant Store Keeper-Cum-Clerk Appointment Notification.

In compliance of judgment dated: 04.03.2016 passed in SWP NO. 171/2016, r/worderdated:02.02.2017 passed in contempt No. 593 of 2016, and order dated: 07.04.2018 passed in SWP No. 749/2018, M.P No. 01/2018 by the Hon’ble High Court at Srinagar in case titled Shahid Sultan and others V/s State of J&K and others as well as recommendation of J&K Service Selection Board SSRB Letter No.SSB/S-6/2016/2206/2017 dated:13.10.2017, the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs vide Government Order No:218 FCS &CA OF 2018 DATED:!6.10.2018 accorded sanction to the temporary appointment of following 19 candidates (petitioners) as Assistant Store Keeper-Cum-Clerk (Division Cadre Kashmir) in the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 with grade Pay of Rs.1900 against the 19 direct quota un-referred vacancies.

 Consumer Affairs Appointment ListThe appointment of the candidate is subject to the production of following certificates in original and the verification thereof from the concerned quarters:-The appointees shall report in the Directorate of Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs within a period of 21 days. In case any appointees does not join within said period, his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled without any further notice.

  1. Academic Qualification Certificate
  2. Date of Birth Certificate
  3. State Subject Certificate
  4. Loan/Stipend if any received has been refunded into the treasury in full
  5. No Loan Certificate under self employment Scheme from the concerned department
  6. Health Fitness Certificate from concerned CMO
  7. Character/Antecedents Certificate
  8. Two (2) recent Passport Size photographs duly attested
  9. Category Certificate in case of category candidates from the competent authority as required under reservation rules.

The appointment of the candidates will be subject to the following conditions:-

  1. The appointees shall give an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit duly signed by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class to the effect that in case any adverse report about his/her character and antecedents is received from Police/CID, J&K, he/she shall have no right to claim from his/her appointment as Assistant Store-Cum-Clerk and his/her appointment, as such, shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio;
  2. In case any certificate/document of the appointee is proved to be fake/fictitious/not genuine his/her appointment order shall be cancelled ab-initio and criminal proceeding against such candidate (s) shall be initiated.
  • Salary of the appointee shall not be drawn and disbursed unless satisfactory report about his/ her character and antecedents is received from the Inspector General (CID), J&K.
  1. The appointees shall remain on probation for a period of two years and confirmation whereof will be issued only after their satisfactory performance.

The seniority of the appointees shall be determined as per the prescribed norms/rules.
