Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu outshines in Yoga Competition

The Namo Gange Trust, a non-profit organization, initiated the auditions of ‘The Little master of Yoga” for the first time in the history of Yoga in order to provide an insight of ancient as well as the modern approach of high profile Yogis & Yoginis. The on-spot auditions were conducted in various cities of India in all respective regions.
For conducting on-spot auditions in our state, Namo Gange Trust collaborated with Technyne for all NGO & Dr. Jagdish Sharma (Yoga Guru) & requested all the schools to send their Yoga players & practitioners for auditions of the little master of Yoga which was scheduled on 11 th Feb’2019 at OM Palace, Jammu. Various schools participated in the contest in which Jammu Sanskriti School; Jammu students also participated enthusiastically in order to acclimatize the body to Yoga exercises & Yoga. 3 students viz; Sumit, Bhumi Gupta & Punit in the
age group of 10-17 yrs bagged top 3 places and got selected for finals.
Dr.Jagdish Sharma, the organizer of the event congratulated all the participants for their wonderful performance & also enlightened the participants about scientific relevance & importance of Yoga on the health of individuals. He also gave some tips to students in order to improve their performance & preparation
further for the Grand Finale, which is scheduled to be held from 10 th to 12 th May’2019, at Hall No. 07, Pragati Maidan; New Delhi & wished them good luck.
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the School Mrs.Rohini Aima congratulated the students and their coach Mr.Rajesh, for their enthusiastic & wonderful performance which helped them reach the Grand Finale, which is a matter of proud moment for the school & school faculty. She also remarked the essence of Yoga &
Yogic exercise on the life of individuals and explained how a Yoga practiced perpetually work for a healthier body & mind.
