Reliance Jio on Friday announced that it will continue to provide free data for the next three months to its Prime Members as a “complimentary service”.
Customers who could not enroll for the Prime membership by 31st March can still do so by paying Rs 99 along with their first purchase of Jio’s Rs 303 and other plans till 15th April, a press release from the company said.
“Every Jio Prime member – when they make their first paid recharge prior to 15th April using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan) – will get services for the initial 3 months on a complimentary basis. Your paid tariff plan will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service,” Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in a statement.
Also, Reliance Jio has extended the time period by 15 days for users to enroll under the Prime Membership. Today was supposed to be the last day for Prime Membership subscription.
Reliance Jio on Friday announced the extension of its Prime membership program until April 15, 2017.
“In just one month over 72 million Jio customers have signed up for Jio Prime membership,” the company said in a press release.
Jio also announced the ‘Jio Summer Surprise’ for its Prime members. Every JIO Prime member, when they make their first paid recharge prior to 15th April using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan), will get services for the initial 3 months on a complimentary basis. The paid tariff plan will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service.
“The Jio Summer Surprise is the first of many surprises for JIO PRIME members,” the company said in a release.
Under Prime membership, Reliance Jio will offer 28GB of data with unlimited voice calls for just Rs 303. To woo more customers into buying the Prime membership, Jio is offering users extra data of up to 120GB, over and above the prescribed data-limit. The offer is available on all data plans from Rs 149 and above.
