JKSSB Exercising of preference for the post of Jr. Statistical Assistant

GOVERNMENT OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR SERVICES SELECTION BOARD, SEHKARI BHAWAN, RAIL HEAD COMPLEX, JAMMU NOTICE

Whereas, J&K SSB in terms of notification endorsed under No. SSB/Secy./Sel/2016/174-87 Dated 05.01.2016 issued list of shortlisted candidates to be called for interview/viva-voce for the posts of Jr. Statistical Assistant (Planning & Development Department), / Vocational Instructor (COPA Trade), (Tech. Education/Y.S.S Department), Inspector Induscos, and Loan Inspector & Manager Central Market (Industries & Commerce Department) under the below

lists item/notification Nos:- 258 (01 of 2011), 179 (03 of 2012), 211 (03 of 2012), 039 (01 of 2013), 742 (01 of 2013), 761 (10 of 2013), 055 (02 of 2015), 058 (02 of 2015), and 064 (02 of 2015). Whereas, in the aforementioned list, some candidates, on the basis of the score of objective type written examination, have find place within the list of shortlisted candidates in multiple/ more than one items. Whereas, in order to avoid repetition of candidates in the selection lists, it is imperative to seek the preference/option from the candidates who have been shortlisted for more than one item Nos.

Now, therefore in the back drop of circumstances/situation summed-up herein above, the candidates who have been shortlisted for multiple/ more than one item Nos., vide aforementioned notice are directed to submit/exercise their preference before the interview Committee at the time of interview. However, while exercising the preference, the following points shall be born in mind. ¾ The option of the candidate shall be considered only if he/she finds place within the selection zone in more than one item Nos. ¾ The preference /option of any candidate shall be operated strictly in order of merit & there shall be no compromise in the merit in what so ever situation.
