The Services Selection Board will shortly issue list of short-listed candidates for various categories of posts whose written tests have been conducted in the month of October-December, 2015 for conduct of the interview. In order to stream-line interview process, it is, once again notified that the candidates who are appearing in the interview must come up with the following documents (in original) in addition to other testimonials (in original) failing which they shall not be allowed to appear in the interview process:-
I. Candidates who have acquired/obtained any degree(s) from Universities/lnstitutions located/functioning (except Central Universities) outside the State must get the bonafide certificate(s) as per the format indicated below duly signed by the Registrar/Deputy Registrar/Assistant Registrar/Any other Competent Authority of the concerned University at the time of interview otherwise such certificate(s) shall not be accounted for.
II. The applicants/candidates having any ambiguity in their Name / Parentage / Spouse’s Name / Caste / Village / Tehsil/District on the certificates viz State Subject/Category Certificates, issued in their favour by the Competent Authorities must get the documents duly corrected/rectified from the Competent Authorities.
III. In case of District Cadre Posts, candidates are required to have certificates that they are residing in that District from the last 15 years as on the cut-off date of filing of application form fixed for that particular advertisement notification as envisaged under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Act, 2010, relevant part of which is reproduced as under:-
“A Person shall be deemed to be resident of a Particular District or Division if he/she has resided in such District or Division, as the case may be for a period of not less than 15 years before the date of applying for a particular post and is actually residing in the said area.”
It is reiterated that the Board has to conduct the selection process on fast track basis, therefore, candidates must turn up for interview on their scheduled dates failing which no subsequent chance for appearing in interview shall be afforded.
