Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA/month (Rs. 33,600)

(i) M. Sc in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences including Botany/ Plant Biotechnology & Bioresources /

(ii) Two years of research experience

1. Ph.D. in concerned subject

2. NET

3. Knowledge of molecular markers and their use for gene discovery through QTL MAPPING

4. Experience of working on wheat crop

Note: Emoluments Rs. 28,000/-pm plus HRA shall be applicable only if candidate meets educational qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-09/2012, dated: 21-10-2014; in the absence of these qualifications, prerevised fellowship will be paid i.e., Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA/month.

Job Responsibilities: The incumbents are expected to perform the following duties:

To conduct marker genotyping work and data analysis.
To assist PI/collaborator in day to day project related activities like maintenance of records, preparation of progress reports, research publications, etc.
