ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one temporary position of Research Associate required under DBT sponsored project “Development of new cultivars in ornamentals through in vitro mutagenesis”purely on contractual basis which is co-terminus with the project tenure. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance. Selected candidate has to work on six days/week basis.

Essential qualification: Ph.D. Horticulture/Botany/Biotechnology with specialization in plant tissue culture. Interested candidates may apply on plain paper with complete biodata and enclose two photographs and attested copies of all relevant certificates. Complete application should reach within one week from the date of publication of the notice to Dr. Z. A. Rather, Principal investigator, Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, Shalimar, Srinagar – 190025. Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the office of Head, Division of Floriculture and landscape Architecture, Shalimar, Srinagar on 20th of October, 2015 or the next working day in case of some unavoidable circumstances. NoTA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview. Appointed candidate shall be paid monthly emoluments of Rs 38000 plus 20% HRA.
