DSEJ Extended Winter Vacations for Jammu Summer Zone up to Jan 12

Due to extreme cold weather on Saturday, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) ordered to extend the winter break for schools in the Jammu summer zone till January 12, 2024.

On January 8, 2024, the instructors have been asked to return to work. In addition, throughout the prolonged holiday period, the Heads of Institutions (HoIs) have been requested to guarantee that classes for grades 10 through 12 be conducted online.

Director of School Education in Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma issued an order that stated, “Due to the extremely cold weather, the winter vacations of government and private recognised schools functioning in summer zones of Jammu division, ordered by this office vide order No1354-DSEJ of 2023 dated December 18, 2023 are further extended till January 12, 2024.”
