Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students in Jammu and Kashmir

The government of Jammu and Kashmir is offering a scholarship to ST students in class 9th and 10th.

The application period is from December 7th, 2024, to January 17th, 2025.

Students must be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir and have a valid ST Certificate.

The family income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum.

The student must have a valid bank account linked to their Aadhaar and mobile number.

Applications can be submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Fresh students need to download the NSP OTR App and AadhaarFaceRD App for face authentication.

Renewal students who have already undergone face authentication in 2023-24 can directly apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship is subject to the following conditions:

The student must not be receiving any other scholarship.

Preference will be given to students studying in government schools.

Scholarship disbursement will be done in the Aadhaar Seeded Account on NPCI.

Additional Notes

The uploaded documents should be in PDF/JPG/JPEG format, file size must be between 100-200 KB.

After successful submission of the online application, students need to submit a hard copy of the application along with the required documents to the Head of the Institution.

The Department will verify the registration, affiliation, and accreditation of schools before releasing the scholarship amount.

The scholarship does not guarantee admission to any course or class.

The scholarship will be restricted to the availability of funds.

Students are advised to track their applications online and make necessary corrections.
