Weather Update orange warning for isolated heavy rain on 23 May.

On Sunday, the meteorological department of Jammu and Kashmir predicted mostly dry weather for the next 24 hours, followed by scattered to widespread light to moderate rain and thunderstorms beginning tomorrow.

On May 23, the meteorological agency issued a “orange warning” for “isolated heavy rain, thunder, and lightning with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph” in J&K. On May 25 and 26, a yellow warning for “isolated thunder and lightning isolated thunder and lightning” has been issued.
