Applications through online mode, are invited from the applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir or are residents of Union Territory of Ladakh and are possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification and age, for filling up of posts in Subordinate Judiciary, the details of which are given in the following
paras, in terms of Jammu & Kashmir Civil Service (Judicial) Recruitment Rules, 1967, as amended from time to time, and J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022:

Name of the post: Civil Judge (Junior Division)

Pay level (27700- 770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770)

Important Dates:

Last Date: 17.09.2023.

Date of Preliminary examination is 08.10.2023.

Date of Competitive (mains) examination is W.E.F 08.11.2023 to 19.11.2023.

Prescribed Qualification:

i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Law from of a University established, or

ii. A Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a member of the faculty of Advocates in Scotland or any other equivalent law degree recognized by the Government of
India.

Fee:

General Category = Rs.1000.00
Reserved Category = Rs 500.00
PHC Candidates = Nil.
