NIFT Srinagar announces Walk-in Interview for Library Trainee Post – Monthly Stipend Rs. 15,000

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates interested in applying for the Library Trainee position must satisfy the following criteria related to education, age, and experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  Postgraduate degree in Library & Information Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Institute in India.
• Age Limit:
  The maximum age is 30 years as of the last date of application.
  Relaxation is applicable: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and differently-abled candidates.
• Desirable Experience:
  Knowledge of library software like e-Granthalaya, Koha, Libsys, and institutional repository platforms such as DSpace, Eprints.

Application Process : 
Eligible candidates must send a filled application form along with a recent passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of all mark sheets to the provided email. Advance scanned copies of documents and the application form should be submitted via email to [email protected] on or before 02/05/2025 [05:00 PM].

Selection Process :
The selection will be based solely on a walk-in interview. The interview date, venue, and reporting time will be notified to the candidates separately. No written test is mentioned in the notification.
