SKUAST Jammu Recruitment Notice – Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J)

Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, R.S. Pura

SKUAST-J invites applications from eligible candidates for the following temporary positions under the ICMR–NIV Project:
“Molecular Epidemiology, Evolutionary Dynamics and Stability of Rotavirus at Human–Animal–Environment Interface.”

Available Positions

1️ Project Technical Support–III (01 Post)

Division of Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology, FVSc & AH, R.S. Pura, Jammu
Qualifications:

Advertisement

Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject + 3 years’ experience
OR

PG in Microbiology / Virology / Biotechnology

Age: Up to 35 years
Desirable: Experience in virology, molecular biology, immunology, ELISA/PCR & bioinformatics
Emoluments: ₹28,000/- + HRA
Tenure: Up to 3 years / completion of project

2️ Project Technical Support–I (01 Post)

Division of Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology, FVSc & AH, R.S. Pura, Jammu
Qualifications:

10+2 with Diploma (MLT/DMLT or equivalent) + 2 years’ experience
OR

Three-year graduate degree + 1 year relevant experience

Age: Up to 28 years
Desirable: Experience in handling microbes, sterilization, microbiology and biotechnology tools
Emoluments: ₹18,000/- + HRA

3️ Project Nurse–I (01 Post)

Department of Microbiology, GMC Jammu
Qualifications:

Two years Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) course

Age: Up to 25 years
Emoluments: ₹18,000/- + HRA
