GMC Jammu Recruitment 2026 : Applications are invited as per Performa from eligible candidates of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir only for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis under SRO 24 (Now SO 364 dated 27.11.2020) against the following vacant posts in Govt. Medical College, Jammu & its Associated Hospitals for a period of one year extendable up to maximum of six years (one year at a time and further extension subject to good performance and conduct) or till the posts are filled on substantive basis in accordance with Rules of Recruitment governing the posts, whichever is earlier.

Application as per prescribed format (typed) should be deposited through registered/speed post or personally by applicant on or before 17.04.2026. The said applications complete in all respect shall have to be deposited/submitted in the office of the Personnel Officer, Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College, Jammu.

Documents to be attached along with application form:
a) Date of Birth Certificate
b) Qualification Certificate (Academic & Technical) with mark sheets of all years/semesters
c) Category Certificate, if any
d) Registration Certificate from J&K Para Medical Council
e) Domicile Certificate
f) Experience Certificate, if any

Terms and Conditions:
a) Maximum age at the time of submission of application form is 63 years
b) These appointments shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regularization/regular appointment under normal process of selection/appointment
c) The services of an appointee under these rules shall be terminable before expiry with one month’s notice from either side
d) Number of posts can increase or decrease as per requirement without notice
e) Selection Committee reserves the right not to fill up any post in case of administrative exigency
f) Provisions of J&K Reservation Act and Rules shall govern selection
g) Conditions of service including discipline shall be governed by rules/orders in vogue under J&K Civil Services Rules
h) No weightage shall be given to higher qualification other than required
i) Application form should be computer typed (self attested), handwritten forms will not be accepted
j) Incomplete applications shall be rejected without prior notice
k) Application without Registration Certificate from J&K Para Medical Council shall be rejected
l) Any incorrect/false information shall render the candidate liable for criminal proceedings
m) No application shall be entertained after last date i.e. 17.04.2026 even by post
n) Remuneration: Retired Government officials shall be paid minimum pension + commuted portion equal to revised scale (SRO-93 dated 15.04.2009 + DA)
o) Contractual appointments shall be governed as per G.O. No. 528-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 21.06.2021
