A terrorist attack in Anantnag.

A terrorist attack in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, in which a J& K Police personnel has been martyred.

Jammu and Kashmir: Security has been heightened after a policeman was martyred in an attack by terrorists in Anantnag town. The firing took place around 12.30 pm on Wednesday at Lal Chowk in Anantnag.

Head constable, Ashiq Hussain, posted on Amarnath yatra security duty was injured in the attack and rushed to the Government Medical College hospital at Anantnag. He was later declared dead.
