ADMISSION NOTICE

The applications are invited for admission under Lateral Entry System (full time) to various Diploma courses in Govt./Private Polytechnics of J&K. State for the academic session 2016-17.
Eligibility criteria for all Diploma courses for Admission under Lateral Entry System are as under:

The applicants with 10+2 pass (Math, Physics & Chemistry) + 1 years ITI certificate are eligible in the appropriate branch. (Engineering trade is admissible for Engineering branch and non engineering trade is admissible for non engineering branch). Application as per format given as Annexure “A” along with the attested copies of the following certificates/documents must reach to the office of the Secretary J&K State Board of Technical Education. Block ‘C‘ Old Secretariat Srinagar, by or before 15th of July 2016. CERTIFICATES TO BE ATTACHED:

Certificate of Permanent Residence.
Marks sheet of the secondary Examination (Matriculation) /10+2.
Provisional cum Marks certificate of 2 years lll/Draftsman.
Non refundable Bank Draft of Rs 500/- in favour of the Secretary, J&K. State Board of Technical Education payable at Srinagar.
Admission Notification No.02 Dated:-02-07-2016 (B.E. Lateral Entry Scheme)

The last date for submission of Online Application Form for admission to BE Programme (Lateral Entry scheme) for the Session 2016-17 in the colleges affiliated to University of Jammu, is hereby extended till 09-07-2016.

The online application form duly filled by the candidates can be submitted through a link provided in the college website www.gcetjammu.org.in

Rest all other conditions as notified vide Admission Notification No: 01 Dated:-15-06-2016 will remain the same.
