Avalanche warning Issued in many parts of J&K

Divisional Administration Kashmir on Monday issued avalanche warning for next 24 hours for hilly and avalanche-prone areas of Kupwara, Bandipora and Kargil districts.

A high danger avalanche warning valid from February 20 to February 21, 2017 (1700 hrs) exists for avalanche prone slopes in Kargil district, while as medium danger avalanche warning exists for higher reaches of Kupwara and Bandipora districts of Kashmir Division, statement of the Divisional Administration said here.
