Power shut down in various parts of Jammu

In order to carry out stringing work between location No. 83-84 and 100-101, the power supply to Grid Station Akhnoor, Kalakot and adjoining areas fed from 132 KV S/C Gladni-Kalakot line will remain affected on May 21 from 5 am to 12 noon.

Similarly, the power supply to Grid Station, Gangyal/ Sidhra-I & II/ Janipur/ Jhajjar Kotli, Akhnoor, Kalakot & BB-I will remain affected. Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Residency Road, Dhounthly Bazar, Karan Nagar, Kachi Chowni/ Channi Himat, Transport Nagar, Sainik Colony and Bathindi etc fed from 220/132/33 KV level of Grid Station Gladni, 132/33 KV Gangyal Grid Station and 132/33 KV Sidhra/ Janipur/ Jhajjar Kotli Grid Stations, 132/33 KV, Akhnoor, Kalakot & BB-I Grid Station will remain affected on May 21 from 5 am to 12 noon.
