Ban on Private Tuition by the Govt College Teachers

It has come to the notice of Administrative Department that some Assistant/ Associate Professors of various Government Degree Colleges of the State are indulging in practice of Private Tuition The involvement of Government employees in abetting the culture of Private Tuition’s amounts to serious violation of Civil Services Conduct Rules’ besides having an adverse effect on the dissemination of quality education in the Colleges. The Department has already imposed a blanket ban on private tuition by the College teachers vide Circular dated 04-01-2011 Hence, it is reiterated once again that henceforth, no colleges Teacher shall involve himself/herself in the practice of private tuition either before or after the working hours in the colleges.
