Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistants in the project entitled “ALICE (U,0&U)” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology/ Govt, of India. The appointments will be purely temporary and limited to the duration of the project. The positions will be based in High Energy Physics Group, Department of Physics, University of Jammu.

Qualification

M Sc. Physics with at least six months research experience in High Energy Physics .Experience with handling particle detectors would be an added advantage

Terms & Condition for the Project:

The candidate shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularisation/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any post or any other contractual engagement on termination of the scheme/ project. The engagement in the scheme/project is purely time bound, non regular and co-terminus basis with the project. The service of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the said project.

The interested candidates may submit their applications on the prescribed format including a detailed resume including contact number along with attested copies of the certificates to the undersigned by or before 2nd February 2018. The interview date shall be notified separately on the university website.. At the time of Interview, the candidate has to bring all the original testimonials/certificates for verification.
