SKUAST Kashmir Notification : Govt jobs : Applications on plain paper with full bio-data along with attested testimonials are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellows (SRF) in the project entitled “Forecasting Agricultural output using Space, Agrometeorology and Land based observations (FASAL)” purely on temporary/contractual basis. The project ‘FASAL’ is funded by Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture & Cooperation), New Delhi through IMD to the Agromet Field Unit, Srinagar in Division of Agronomy. The particulars of posts under this project are given below.

Remuneration Rs. 28,000/- + House Rent Allowance as per Gol Rules
Educational Qualification and Experience
Post Graduate degree (MSc/M.Tech) in Meteorology or M.Sc/M.tech in (Agriculture) from a recognized
University / Institution.

Desirable Qualification Candidate with knowledge/ experience in MS Office / Meteorological data processing/ remote sensing/ GIS/ Crop Simulation Modeling shall be preferred. Ph.D desirable

How to apply

The selected candidates will be offered Fellowship for an initial period of 1 year which may be extended by another year based on the performance of the candidate and requirement in the project. There is no provision of reemployment after termination of the project. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview. Candidate should not have any type of conviction in the court anywhere in India.
