WeatherForecast: An active western disturbance is most likely to affect J&K and Ladakh during 13-15th Nov with main activity on 14th. As a result, moderate rain/snow is likely in plains of Kashmir & hilly areas of Jmu & Ladakh UT especially Drass, Zanskar, some areas of Leh dist.

Good snowfall is expected at places like Gulmarg, Gurez etc. Probable Impacts :

1. Temporary closure of Zojila, Srinagar -Jmu highway, Mugal road.

2. Fall in day temp by 5-6 deg.

3. Farmers are advised to take appropriate actions.
