Jammu Srinagar NHW Traffic update 14-12-2020.

Subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt, to prevent the spread of Covid 19)

CUTOFF TIMING:

LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs

No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu after tail of up HMVs crosses Jawahar Tunnel. However fresh perishable carriers/ Oil tankers shall be allowed in the opposite direction subject to traffic situation

SFs Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu.

NOTE:- On 18-12-2020 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHW.

SSG Road is closed due to snow accumulation.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
