University of Jammu announces admission under Choice Based Credit System to Semester-1 of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.B.A/B.C.A (General) Course for the academic year 2021-22 in the Government Degree Colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu falling under Winter Zone.

Jammu University Admission under CBCS 2021 details

• Semester: 1st
• Academic year: 2020-21
• Without late fee: 03-03-2021 to 22-03-21
• Late Fee date: 23-03-2021 to 01-04-2021
• Late Fee: Rs. 320/-
• Class shall begin from: 1st week of April,2021

In view of the COVID-19 situation, the Colleges and the candidates are advised to follow the instructions / SOP’s as issued by the Government from time to time. The concerned Principal shall ensure the wearing of Mask by one and all & avoid large gatherings.

Further, the University desires that the Registration of the candidate(s) & Payment of fee be encouraged to be made through online /digital mode.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the admission under Choice Based Credit System to Semester-1 of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.B.A/B.C.A (General) Course for the academic year 2021-22 in the Government Degree Colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu falling under Winter Zone shall be made as under :-

• 03-03-2021 to 22-03-2021 (without late fee)
• 23-03-2021 to 01-04-2021 (with late of fee of Rs. 320/-)

The Vice-Chancellor may consider grant of late admission for 10 days after the expiry of last date as per (b) above on payment of Rs.2910/- as late fee.

The regular teaching work of the class shall begin from 1st week of April, 2021.

Jammu University Admission Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Semester-1

Admission to Semester-1 of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (general) Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto subject to the availability of seats & if otherwise found eligible.

Jammu University Admission Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.B.A Course Semester-1

Admission to Semester-1 of the Three Year B.B.A. Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and has obtained fit least 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Jammu University Admission Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.C.A Course Semester-1

Admission to Semester-1 of the Three Year B.C.A. Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with mathematics as one of the elective subjects and has obtained at least 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Note:

1. The admission in the Govt. Degree College imparting instruction in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Course affiliated to the University of Jammu shall be made directly by the Admission committee of the college concerned on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination & strictly as per other statutes.

2. The examination shall be held as per the schedule to be notified by the Controller of Examination separately.
