Jammu and Kashmir Legal  Services Authority Selection criteria for the post of Legal Assistant/Junior Legal Assistant, advertised by J&K Legal Services Authority in terms of Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2021 dated 08.03.2021.

In terms of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Service Authorities/Committees (officers and employees) Recruitment Rules, 2021, the competent authority has been pleased to lay down the following criteria for making selection to the posts of
Legal Assistant/Junior Legal Assistant (Direct Quota).

(A) Written Test.

There shall be an objective type written test comprising of 80 questions, each question carrying one mark. The duration of the written test shall be 85 minutes.

The written test shall comprise questions on the following subjects:-

1. Constitutional Law 15 Marks
2. Administrative Law 10 Marks
3. Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 10 Marks
4. Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 10 Marks
5. Law of contract 15 Marks
6. Environmental law 10 Marks
7. General Knowledge/Current affairs 10 Marks

(B) Interview/Viva-Voce

There shall be viva-voce of 20 Marks. The candidates will be called for interview/viva-voce on merit on the basis of their performance in the written examination in the ratio of 1:5.
