J&K:  CRPF troops at a naka party at Monghal Bridge in Anantnag tried to intercept a suspected vehicle without number plate but it rushed towards the naka party. Troops fired upon in self-defence & one person died. The driver managed to escape: Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar

Troops fired upon in self-defence in which one person died. But the driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot. Identification & credentials of the deceased person are being verified. Probe underway: Jammu & Kashmir Police
