CSIR Typing Test It is notified for information of the candidates who have applied for the above positions that the Typing/Skill Test for the above posts is due to be held shortly. As per the option given in the applications received from the candidates, the Typing Test would be conducted in the English language.

The Skill Test requirement on computers as per CSIR-Recruitment Rules is as follows:-

• English Typing @35 w.p.m.
• Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m.
• (Time allowed — 10 minutes)*

35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.

Note:

• However, if any candidate (s) wants to appear in the Typing Test in Hindi, he/she may inform CSIRIIIM Jammu regarding the same latest by 21.07.2022 at 5.00 P.M. through e-mail at [email protected]
• If no e-mail is received up to 21.07.2022 till 5.00 P.M., it will be presumed that the Typing Test shall be conducted for all eligible candidates in the English language only. No request for change from English to the Hindi language would be entertained after 21.07.2022.
