Mughal road closed after fresh snowfall

Due to snowfall along Pir ki Gali (PKG), authorities closed Mughal Road on Tuesday. They did this out of concern for the safety of drivers and passengers on the road that connects Shopian to the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri.

Meanwhile, a local weatherman predicted that scattered to widely dispersed locations in Jammu and Kashmir on October 19 evening to early on October 20 will likely experience mild to moderate rain over plains and light snowfall over high ranges.
