Partial solar eclipse from 4:15 to 5:45 pm today J&K MeT.

Jammu and Kashmir will experience a partial solar eclipse today, according to Mukhtar Ahmad, deputy director of the meteorological department in Srinagar on Tuesday. In Jammu and Kashmir, the eclipse will begin about 4:15 p.m. and last till 5:45 p.m.

As recommended by various authorities, he added that the eclipse will end after sunset and that people should avoid looking straight at the sun while it is occurring.

He also mentioned that the solar eclipse in other parts of India would begin at 2:30 and terminate at 6:30, just before dusk.
