Traffic Update on National Highway Jammu srinagar, Srinagar-Kargil, Bandipore-Gurez, Synthan-Kishtwar
Traffic Update Tomorrow on 17-12-2015, traffic on National Highway will ply both ways with the following restrictions in view of slippery condition of road:-
From Jammu (Nagrota) Srinagar bound passenger vehicles will be allowed to move only between 06 AM to 01 PM while heavy vehicles will be permitted only between 6.30 AM to 11. 30 AM. No Srinagar bound passenger vehicle will be permitted to cross Udhampur (Jekhani Chowk) after 2.30 PM while no heavy vehicle will be permitted after 1.30 PM.
From Qazigund light motor vehicles shall be permitted to move towards Jammu only between 8. 30 AM to 3 PM while heavy vehicles shall be permitted only between 9 AM to 2 PM.
Due to slippery condition of the road, no movement of traffic shall be allowed on Mughal road today after 1700 hours. However, subject to good conditions of weather and road, movement of traffic on Mughal road will be allowed from Shopian as well as from Chandimarh side only between 0900 hours to 1600 hours tomorrow.
Srinagar-Kargil road closed for movement of traffic. Vehicles being stopped at Sonanarg on Srinagar side and at Drass on Kargil side.
Bandipore-Gurez road closed for all sort of traffic.
Synthan-Kishtwar road closed for traffic.
