112 Doctors terminated from services in J&K. Government on Monday ordered termination from services of 112 doctors for “unauthorized” absence from their duties. According to separate orders by Health & Medical Education Department, those terminated from the services include medical officers, Consultant Surgeon and B-Grade Specialists. The doctors were given notices to resume their services.

Police officer shot dead in Pulwama. Dead body of Farooq Ah Mir of Samboora Si(M) posted in IRP 23 BN was found in paddy fields near his home. Preliminary investigation reveals that he had left his home for work in his paddy fields last evening, where he was shot dead by terrorists using a pistol:
