Mahua Gupta – Artist / Arteducator from Jammu
Mahua is a self-taught Artist. She discovered her carrier in the Art field as an Artist despite being a Proficient Psychologist. She Exhibited her talent Nationally and Internationally. She is the First Lady who brought and introduced the Tanjore Art in Jammu and make it popular among the masses. She speaks through her craft and strokes which attract aspiring youth towards this art. She has inspired many of us and her legacy to be continued forever.
Mahua Gupta, Artpreneur and Art Educator, completed her masters in Psychology, opted her passion later as an Artist. Her work medium includes oil paintings, acrylics, watercolor, ink etc. And she work in TANJORE (the only Tanjore Artist in Jammu), Hyper-realistic, book illustrations, abstract themes and much more. Participated in many camps and exhibitions on State, National and International level across the country keeps adding with time. Also felicitated with Young Women Achievers Award in the field of Art on the International Women’s Day in 2015. She believes art is the journey of a free soul.
