Airforce Airman Group Y Recruitment 2024: The Airforce has released the official notification inviting applications from Indian and Gorkha (subjects of Nepal) male candidates from the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and UTs of J&K,  Chandigarh & Ladakh for Airman Group Y / Medical Assistant Posts. The Indian Air Force is conducting recruitment rallies from July 3 to July 12, 2024, at Base Repair Depot, Air Force,  Chandigarh.

Qualification Required —
The required qualification for Airmen Group Y / Medical Assistant is given below:-

I) For candidates with 10+2/Intermediate:-

• Must have passed 10+2/ Intermediate or equivalent examination.
• Should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Minimum 50% marks in English are required.

II) For candidates with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy:-

• Must have passed 10+2/ Intermediate or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• Should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Minimum 50% marks in English are required.
• Additionally, candidates must hold a Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment.

Age Limit —

• For candidates with 10+2/ Intermediate: Born between January 2, 2004, and January 2, 2008.
• For candidates with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy (Unmarried): Born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2006.
• For candidates with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy (Married): Born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2004.

Application Fees —
The application fee for the Airforce Airman Group Y Recruitment Rally is Rs. 100/- plus GST. Candidates are required to pay the fee online while registering for the rally. Payment can be made using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, or UPI through the payment gateway.

Selection Process —
The selection process for Airforce Airman Group Y 2024 comprises four stages:

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
• Written Test
• Adaptability Test-II
• Medical Examination

Pay & Allowances —
During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) is Rs. 26,900/– per month. In addition, dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

How to Apply —
To apply for the Airforce Airman Group Y recruitment in 2024, interested and eligible candidates need to register online between May 22 and June 5, 2024, on the official website provided in the advertisement.

After registration, candidates will receive a Provisional Admit Card, which is essential for appearing in the recruitment rally. Only registered candidates issued with Provisional Admit Card are allowed to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
