Qualification:

Core Proficiencies and Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, and Terraform.
Scripting experience in Bash/PowerShell/Python/ YAML is a must.
Experience with public cloud providers (AWS preferred).
Experience with containerized systems and experience with Docker and/or K8S.
Working with Git version control system, including branching and merging strategies.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in configuration management technologies such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Understanding of fundamental network technology like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, and HTTP.

Responsibilities

Design and provision infrastructure in the public cloud. Implement infrastructure as code following modern DevOps principles. Understand the needs of the business and the platform in order to design solutions for success. You will help build, configure, scale, and maintain infrastructure for Production, Staging, Development, and QA environments, using AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, automating artifact deployments with Artifactory and many more DevOps tools.
Hand-on with AWS Lambda & CloudFormation is appreciated.
Proficiency with Docker. You can expect to work with Docker and/or other containerization tools to keep the architecture as portable as possible.
Proficiency in Scripting and Programming languages. You have to work with python, PowerShell, and Bash. You should be familiar with the tools and frameworks around these languages. You understand modern development workflows involving Git and CVCD principles.
