Guest Faculty in various departments on purely per lecture basis.

The qualifications and eligibility as per UGC/AICTE/NCTE guidelines/regulations (amended from time to time) and Central University Act, 2009 will be applicable.

Walk-in Interviews for empanelment of Guest Faculty are tentatively scheduled on 15.01.2026

Applications are invited from suitable candidates interested to be empanelled as Guest Faculty in Central University of Jammu for Academic Session 2026 (Even Semester) as per following details:-

Department :

Computer Science & Engineering

Botany

Educational Studies (Economics)

Honorarium : Rs. 1500/- per lecture (including all academic activities as per Departmental requirement) on as and
when required basis subject to ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- in a calendar month

General Instructions :-

1.The qualifications, eligibility and other conditions as per UGC/AICTE/NCTE guidelines/regulations and Central University Act, 2009 (amended from time to time) will be applicable.

2. The candidates may report for walk-in Interview on notified date and time along with their original documents, experience certificates etc., along with one photocopy of self-attested documents, CV/Biodata, two self attested photographs along with duly filled application from available on University website.

3.The empanelled candidates shall have no claim for extension or permanent appointment as it is a time gap interim engagement on requirement basis.

4. Validity of panel will be for Academic Session 2026 (Even Semester)

5. The Guest faculty will be purely engaged on per lecture and on as and when requirement basis by Departments.

6.The eligible candidates will be required to deposit Rs. 500/- as application processing fees in the form of DD in favour of Registrar, Central University of Jammu on the day of Walk – in Interview. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted.
