CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, is one of the constituent Institutes of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), a premier multi-disciplinary R & D organization in India which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IIIM, Jammu is engaged in high quality research and development having primary focus on drug discovery from natural resources (medicinal plants and microbial species). The key research areas of CSIR-IIIM are (i) Natural Products/ Medicinal/Analytical/Bio-Organic Chemistry, (ii) Plant Sciences (Plant Biotechnology/ Biodiversity/ Genetic Resources/Taxonomy/Ethno Biology), (iii) Fermentation Technology, (iv)Clinical Microbiology, (v) Biological/ Pharmacological Sciences, (vi) Quality Control/Quality Assurance and (vii) cGMP/Formulation Development. CSIR-IIIM offers excellent infrastructure support, start-up research funding along with a vibrant environment to perform collaborative research in interdisciplinary areas. Additionally, access to resources of other CSIR Institutes and strong networking with medical institutes, hospitals and universities provide opportunities to do globally competitive drug discovery. The Institute is interested in recruiting enthusiastic young researchers with proven track record of scientific achievements. The candidates with industrial research experience and those with aptitude and attitude for undertaking collaborative drug discovery projects, rather than individual-driven research, will be preferred. b. Duly completed applications accompanied by attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph should be sent in an envelope super scribed
“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ____________ (Post Code ________)” by post to: The Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative, Medicine, Canal Road, Jammu180 001, so as to reach on or before the closing date 10.10.2020. This date will be the same for candidates belonging to far flung areas also.
c. Candidates are required to remit the application fee of Rs.100/- in favour of Director, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu through online payment system i.e. NEFT/Bank Transfer/Net Banking, etc. for which details are as under:-

The candidates are required to generate acknowledgement of remitted application fee from the online payment system, containing UTR Number/Transaction Number and Transaction Date and the same is required to be attached along with the hard copy of application. Following details must be mentioned on back side of the acknowledgement generated(i) Candidate’s Name, (ii) Candidate’s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied For. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.

d. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application form for each post indicating the Post Code No. of the post. The hard copies of each application must be accompanied by acknowledgment of remitted application fee.
e. Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other  recruitment or selection process.
f. In case of universities/institute awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., candidates are requested to convert the same into percentage based on the formula as per their university/institute and provide proof of the formula adopted for the same.
g. Applications from employees of Government Departments will be considered only if forwarded through proper channel and certified by the employer that the applicant, if selected will be relieved within one month of the receipt of the appointment orders. Also, vigilance clearance should be recorded. However, advance copy of the application may be submitted before the closing date. Applications routed through proper channel should reach CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu at the earliest.
h. Candidates should specifically note that the applications received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever (such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere, postal delay etc.) will not be entertained by CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu.
