GMC Rajouri Recruitment 2025 Tutor/Demonstrator jobs

Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/doctors (PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Tutor/Demonstrator in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Rajouri purely on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidates.

Maximum age limit: 50 years as on cut-off date.
Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education, Jammu/Srinagar and as per latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions issued by NMC.

Interested candidates can fill the application form annexed with this notification and submit the same to the office of undersigned by or before 10.11.2025.

The application form complete in all aspects should be accompanied with a non-refundable bank draft of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) from J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Rajouri into the account mentioned below:

Instructions:

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self-attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by registered post or by hand on or before 10.11.2025 up to 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, GMC Rajouri.

Applications sent by any other mode or after the last date shall not be entertained.

For PSC (In-service) Candidates:

a. The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
b. They shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with prior permission of the Administrative Department as per Circulars No: 05-JK (HME) of 2021 dated 21.12.2021, 02-JK (HME) of 2020 dated 20.01.2020, and Government Order No: 03-HME of 2019 dated 27.05.2019.

Application forms should be routed through proper channels.

No candidate will be allowed to participate without prior approval.
c. If selected, they will be allowed to join only after being relieved by their Administrative Department.

For Non-PSC Candidates:

Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged on consolidated pay equal to the revised basic pay which corresponds to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for post of Medical Officer in Health Department as per SRO-193 dated 24.04.2018 + dearness allowance.

Appointee shall be entitled to house rent allowance as applicable to in-service candidates carrying the minimum of pre-revised scale of post subject to fulfilment of conditions.

Appointee shall not be entitled to any other monetary benefits whatsoever.

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SELF-ATTESTED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Mark sheet/any other)

MBBS/Diploma/MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM all term mark sheets and qualification of respective specialty

Attempt certificate of 1st, 2nd, Pre-final, and Final MBBS issued by concerned Universities

MBBS degree and MCI/NMC or State Medical Council registration certificate

Internship completion certificate

Distinction/National scholarship/Honours/Medals/Academic Merit Certificate if any

House-job (Jr.) certificate issued by concerned Principal or Equivalent authority

FMGE certificate (in case of MBBS from outside India)

Professional publications in a standard medical journal, if any

NOC from Administrative Department Health & Medical Education (for in-service PSC candidates)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Maximum tenure of Tutor/Demonstrator: 03 years, no further extension shall be granted.

Selection and appointment are subject to Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

Candidates must verify eligibility before applying; incorrect or unverified information may lead to cancellation.

Appointee must submit an affidavit declaring they will not leave residency mid-way.

No preferential right for regular appointment shall be conferred.

Candidates who have completed/doing/left demonstratorship midway are not eligible.

Candidates intending to leave must give one-month prior notice or deposit one-month salary.

Vacancies are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.

This is without prejudice to any writ petition pending before any Hon’ble Court.
