GMC Srinagar jobs:  Applications on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement against the following positions on Academic Arrangements Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020, dated:- 27.11-2020 in Government Medical College, Srinagar for a period of one year or till such time posts are filled up by the competent authority on regular basis whichever is earlier. However, the candidates who have already applied for the post of Optromist/Jr. Refractionist/Jr. Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician in response to this office advertisement notice No: 01 NGS of 2020, dated:- 08-02-2020 need not to apply afresh.

• The applicants are advised to enclose with their application forms self attested photocopies of the below mentioned documents/certificates.
  • • Date of Birth certificate.
    • 10+2 pass certificate with Science subject( Physics, Chemisfry and Biology).
    • Diploma/Degree Certificate in Ophthalmic Assistant/Refractionist Course and marks sheets of all examinations of such course.
    • Reserved Category Certificate, if any.
    • Domicile Certificate.
• The age of the applicant at the time of submission of application must not be:-
  • below 18 years; and
  • above 63 years:-
• The candidates may download the application format and pay in slip from the official website i.e, http://www.gmcs.edu.in or obtain the same from office of the Principal/Dean Government Medical College, Srinagar.
• The applications complete in all respects and accompanied with pay in slip for an amount of Rs. 300/- (credited to Account No: SB 7655) must reach to the office of undersigned with effect from 15.11.2021 to 25.11.2021 upto 1.00 PM.

Terms & Conditions of the engagement:-

• The engagee shall be paid salary at the minimum of pay scale in accordance with S.O. 364 of 2020, dated:- 27-01-2020.
• The engagement against the advertised posts shall and shall always be on Academic Arrangement Basis only without conferment of any preferential right on the engagees for regular appointment against these posts which shall be made strictly in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules.
• The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this Institution to the effect that they will not leave the job before the completion of one year’s contract. Abandoning/termination of the agreement, as the case may be, will require one month prior notice on either side, failing which the salary will not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.
