Applications on the prescribed format (Annexed-A), duly affixed with passport size photograph, are invited from the eligible candidates belonging to Union Territory of J&K, for engagement as Counsellor on contract basis on the consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- for Child Guidance and Well-being Center at Institute of Mental Health & Neuro-sciences,(IMHANS), under the scheme of Psycho Social Programme of UNICEF:-

Name of the Position 01. Counsellor

Eligibility M.A. in Psychology Candidates with M.Phil Clinical Psychology from RCI recognized Institute will be given preference.

Terms and Conditions:

I. The engagement will be for a period of one year only.

II. These are purely programme positions and the engagement is not against any substantive Govt, position. Engagement on these positions will in no case translate into a claim for permanent employment or employment in the Govt. Sector. The contractual engagees shall have to furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate to the effect that they will not claim for regular appointment at any future date on the strength of this contractual engagement.

III. The selected personnel shall have to execute an agreement on the judicial paper dully attested by the 1st class Magistrate to the effect that they will not leave the Department before the completion of one year’s contract.

IV. Applications with comprehensive C.V alongwith relevant certificates/documents accompanied with pay in slip for an amount of Rs. 300/- will be accepted in the office of the undersigned till 14th September, 2020 (04.00 PM).

V. The candidates may download the application format and pay in slip from the official website of the Government Medical College, Srinagar i.e. www.gmcs.edu.in.

VI. The applications of those candidates shall be rejected in whose case it will be found that the requisite requirements/documents/marks sheets have not been attached with their application formats.

VII. A contact Number must be stated on the application.

VIII. No T.A/D.A will be paid for participation in written test/interview and no separate call letters will be sent to the candidates at the time of interview/test.

IX. Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated or tempered doc-uments/testimonials or making statement which are incorrect/false or suppressing material information shall be liable for legal action under Law and in case such a defaulter is traced after selection his/her engagement shall be terminated without any information to him/her.

X. If a contractual engagee at any point of time willfully neglect or refuses to perform his duties, the appointing authority shall immediately terminate his contractual engagement without any notice and he shall not be entitled to any salary for such period.
