In supersession of Advertisement Notices Issued by Government Railway Police Kashmir, Government Railway Police Jammu and Government Railway Police Katra vide above quoted three references, applications as per enclosed proforma are hereby invited from the eligible candidates (both male and female) for filling up of 98, 34 and 18 posts of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in Government Railway Police Kashmir. Government Railway Police Jammu and Government Railway Police Katra respectively purely on temporary basis on consolidated monthly honorarium as per policy in vogue on the subject.

Fulfillment of physical standard criteria and clearance of physical endurance tests will only be qualifying in nature. Merit list for selection will be drawn only on the basis of total marks obtained against Height and educational qualification of the candidate. In case of tie of total marks among candidates, preference will be given to candidate older in age.

Those who have applied against advertisement notice issued by SSP GRP Kashmir, SSP GRP Jammu and SSP GRP Katra vide No. Rly/Estt/SPO-Eng/19-15762-90 dated 16/11/2019, No.  Rlys/Estt/SPO.s-Eng/2019/12770-75        dated 20/11/2019 and

No.Rlys/Estt/Katra/2019/11941-47 dated 25/11/2019 respectively need not apply again and their candidature will be considered subject to’fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Applications must be submitted as per enclosed proforma along with the self certified copies of following documents and photographs:-

Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth.
Educational qualification certificate
Recent passport size Color photographs (04 copies).

No fee is chargeable for submission of application forms.

How to apply.

Applications completed in all respect may be submitted in the office of SSP GRP Kashmir/SSP GRP Jammu/SSP GRP Katra (as the case may be) on any working day between 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs latest by 4th December 2019.

Schedule for physical measurement and Physical Endurance tests would be notified separately.
