Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2022.

Indian Army Agniveer Registration is open for recruitment of Agniveers in the Indian Army for the Recruiting Year 2022-23. Eligible youth as per the criteria given below can apply online on the Directorate General of Recruiting website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in or may contact the nearest Army / Recruiting Office for further details.

1	Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms)	17¹/² – 21* years	Class 10th / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following the grading system minimum of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licence will be given preference for Driver requirements
2	Agniveer (General Duty) (Women Military Police)	17¹/² – 21** years	.Class 10th / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following the grading system minimum of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licence will be given preference for Driver requirements
3	Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)	17¹/² 21* years	10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate & 40% marks in each subject. OR Advertisement 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field with NSQF Level 4 or above.
4	Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)	17¹/² – 21* years	10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts / BookKeeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
5	Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass (All Arms)	17¹/² 21* years	(a) Class 10th simple pass. (b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum 33% in each subject.
6	Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass (Syce, Housekeeper & Messkeeper) (All Arms)	17¹/² – 21* years	(a) Class 8th simple pass. (b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject.

Note:

The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as a one-time measure for the Recruiting Year 2022-23
For Women MP only. Upper age limit will be relaxable upto 30 years of age in respect of widows of defence personnel who have died in harness
